How We Usually Put a Wedding Together
Most bookings come down to three movements: the couple and the party to the ceremony, everyone to the photo location, then everyone to the reception. Guests are the part people underestimate, and it is where a maxi earns its place because eleven people move in one car instead of three.
Send us the run sheet with the addresses and times, and we will tell you honestly how many cars it needs. Sometimes that is fewer than you expect.
| Car | Seats | Luggage | Surcharge |
|---|---|---|---|
| Silver Service | 4 | 2 large and 2 small bags | $11.00 |
| Sedan | 4 | 2 large and 2 small bags | None |
| Maxi Cab | 11 | 8 large bags | $17.80 |
| SUV or Wagon | 4 | 4 large and 3 small bags | $17.80 |
Every car is estimated on the same meter rates. The surcharge is the only difference in what you pay for the vehicle itself. The meter on the day is the final word unless you agree a fixed fare with us by phone or email first.
How Far Ahead to Book
As soon as the venue and the timings are confirmed. Saturdays through spring and summer are the busiest days of the year for this in Melbourne, and silver service cars are the first thing to go.
If your date is inside a fortnight, ring rather than booking online so we can check availability while you are on the phone.
Ribbons, Decoration and the Photos
Simple decoration such as ribbons can be arranged if you ask when booking. Anything more elaborate is best supplied by you and fitted by the driver before the run, since florists and stylists tend to have particular ideas about how it should look.
